Overrides:

New Content: Gameplay

-Completely rebalanced the early game Combat System
Players will now start the game with 3 Brand New Skills and will completely ignore The Darkness gameplay as well as Knight’s Channel. Once players get to The Domain and finally unlock it, The Hero’s Ascent as a Knight of Darkness will begin. We hope this will further add value to the game while making sure The Darkness Build has every option possible AND proper scaling instead of forcing this on players early on when they do not have as many options.
-Added Battle Dice
Battle Dice are dropped upon a monster’s death and will awaken an Attack, a Buff, or a Debuff. Higher level monsters will cause stronger Battle Dice to drop which will triple or quadruple the effect.
Effects:
Healing- Heals the player for 10 seconds at 5%-15%HP per second.
EXP- For 10 seconds you receive 1%-3% bonus gains per second.
AP Cripple (str,int,dex,luk) For 60 seconds you lose -10%/-20%/-30%
Shellfury- For 3 seconds, 5-15 monsters will be hit with a shell attack at a base and x40 and x100 that is unavoidable
Explosion- Targets all monster within the blast for 50-500, 200-2000, 1000-10000 damage
-Burst Cloning- “Multiply and strengthen monsters on the map for 5/7/10 seconds”
-Added Battle Dice explanation to Tru

QOL fixes:

-Removed 300+ words from the script (All filler)
-Added more Silouhettes to better add diversity to Non-Important NPC’s in the world
-Touched up the early game tutorial
-Recollection Room was made bigger to fit more NPC’s
-Re-organized Recollection Room with better theming and to cluster Story characters more

Bug Fixes:

-Fixed early game scaling to account for not having Knight’s Channel anymore.
-Added missing reward to a certain Ellinia quest

Killing enemies in a map will trigger a counter that will call Renka. Leaving a map is no longer necessary

-Fixed Renka not appearing on new saves

-New players from levels 1-20 will now have access to every Setting. Upon reaching level 21, the settings will be locked to default again. This is to add a bit more assistance to newer players as greater options can be found after Maple Island
-Remade Valerie’s Thieving Missions to avoid future bugs and issues. Valerie will reset upon loading the game so if missions were underway, you will need to restart them.
-Nave now sells a few Monster Materials for quite a bit of Meso. Pig Veins included
-Added 7 Lore Books
Scattered throughout the world and certain story missions are Books. These books are filled with lore about many missing links in the history/story.

5. Home Base
6. Lith Harbor
7. Mushroomtown

-Added Book Trading through Purun in Rien
Upon arriving in Rien, speaking with Purun will unlock a way to trade in Books for rewards. Handing him entire sets will give you exp, Meso, and rare items

QOL fixes:

-Further updated the engine to better work/load on as many computer systems as possible
-Updated sound engine to prevent crashes on older systems
-Added Jukebox mode to manually choose every song in the game 1 by 1
-Hovering over settings will now detail what those settings do
-Added more details to Password Box on how to obtain Passwords for everything

New Content: Gameplay

-Added Monster Cloning
From now on, killing a monster creates a chance it clones itself upon defeat. They will clone upwards of 3 times max. Useful to alleviate waiting for mobs when grinding
-Added Crit Buildup. The more enemies you kill the more you build up a hidden Crit Value. The max is 30% where every 10 hits, 3 have a chance of doing Crit Damage.
-Added 5 Boxes
Killing a Wanderer, Monster Cousin, or Weird Mod will now spawn 1/5 Boxes. Each Box gives a bonus or launches an AOE for the entire area. This is too spice up current gameplay
1. Attack Box- Raises every type of Attack and Darkness Damage for 60 seconds
2. Box of Cunning- Increases Speed and Avoidability for 60 seconds
3. Earthquake Box- For 3 seconds, damages every non-flying enemy
4. Rates Box- Increased EXP, Meso, and Droprate yield by +10 for 60 seconds
5. Snowstorm Box- Freezes everything around the player
-Tweaked Mob behavior. Shield will not last forever but all monsters will receive natural 10% Regen
-! Alert now has 33% chance to not escalate into Fight Mode. This is to give players more chance to handle mobs one at a time
-Added new sounds for cloning, boxes, and other small additions
-Added a working Economy to every shop. The more you buy, the more you feed into the town’s formula. Selling items will also yield bigger gains if you heavily buy in one shop especially.
-Added Portable Shops. Buying a Portable Shop Keeper (1st is in Lith Harbor) allows you to open up a Shop anywhere you are. Helpful when trying to offload items inside the Recycler before they’re ditched. Is also part of the economy update so using it frequently allows better sales
-Added seats to many parts of the game. If you’re in the middle of combat and spot a seating area, use it. Helps to not waste more valuable healing items when fighting
-Added Medal of Challenge to New Game.
Activates Hard Mode. World Map is locked meaning you need to walk everywhere
EXP/Meso/Drop Rate is Locked to Tier 1
Infinite Scrolling is deactivated and Item Durability is taken into account
Grants a 100% boost to movement speed

QOL fixes:

-Removed 1000+ words from the script (All filler)
-Updated settings. Sound issues will now autoqueue based around hardware
-Added Soft Skip and Hard Skip for skipping Text/Quests
-Recyclying is updated. Items will get dumped over time instead of leaving the screen once
-SD/Events/Animations are now stored in a buffer. Quests will load and display faster than before
-Updated Beastiary by allowing you to see all Wanderers, Monster Cousins, and outside mobs in the area
-Kerning City’s weather will now change depending on your systems clock. Cloudy and Night sky backgrounds will appear.
-Patron Codes can now be inputted into any order. 12 are saved on the exe max
-Greatly buffed Chairs. Most Chairs will now return a 25% recovery with better quality ones giving larger returns
-Added Rarity Colors to Beastiary. Can now see what drops are rare in the entire pool
-Added hidden password for Choco Muffin
-Added hidden password for Blueberry Muffin

Bug Fixes:

-Fixed numerous grammar issues (Thanks to everyone who sent me logs!)
-Fixed numerous Recollection Room entries that would vanish instead of repeat
-Fixed issue with Jane and her Corruption Route
-Fixed numerous SD mistakes
-Corrected a Luna Quest Tracker issue that was for Lovers Only
