Masters of Raana is an open-world RPG set in an abandoned colony, Ikaanos, that desperately tries to survive on a dangerous alien planet that was separated from Earth several centuries ago. In this god-forsaken world we find feudal-like kingdoms fighting amongst themselves for power and influence, when they’re not busy dealing with the monstrous megafauna that threatens the last bastion of human civilization.
On this planet, Raana, we find our MC – a nobody who has just inherited a house from his older brother, a renowned slave trainer that went missing over a year ago. Master of Raana’s open-world approach allows you to do anything; live as a quiet factory worker, a thrill-seeking adventurer, a scavenger, an academy master, a famous arena champion or anything in between.
You could also take up your brother’s old profession and train slaves into obedient servants, academy professors, fierce shield maidens, or willing sex toys.
You’re also able to marry slaves, impregnate them and raise your offspring to adulthood, molding your children into anything you want; adventure buddies, accountants, guards or docile servants.
The planet of Raana also has many secrets to uncover, some you might stumble upon whilst exploring deep caverns or reading ancient books. There are many dangerous and hidden mysteries that lie waiting, ready to be discovered by those who seek the truth about Raana’s obscure past.

Gameplay changes
- [NPC] Random NPCs will now generally start with higher Stamina – especially combat captives.

- [LOOT] Tweaked the Grimdark Diff modifier for random loot rolls that disabled picking up the weapon from a downed enemy in the second slot.
- [WORLD] There’s now more *swing* for the outcome when raiders attack the MC’s household. The random dice now has a total possible difference of 50 (was 30). This gives both the player and raiders a slightly higher chance to defeat a stronger opponent through luck.
- [WORLD] The Conclude Day Engine will now ramp up the chances (ten fold) for the NEW RECRUITS event (Ikaanos) if Skyguard troops fall below 5,000 and if either Control is below 15 or if there’s an ongoing dengi invasion.
- [WORLD] Ikaanos will now tax internal workshops (yard) if the main hall is Level 1+. Base tax is $30/day (max $60/day) per workshop.
- [WORLD] Chancellor Aria Bianchi will now only participate in the “Dirty Confessions” event if her Corruption is 60+ and if she’s not the MC’s wife.

Aria’s quest > Kymanto route (CHAPTER I)
If you decide to honor your family’s connections with The Kymanto Syndicate and hand over a fully trained Aria to Chancellor Mordecai Adler, you’ll now be contacted by an envoy after 7+ days (in Redhaven, at noon), with an invitation to speak with The Chancellor himself. This first chapter opens up:
- Mordecai Adler’s personal harem, which offers huge bonuses to the MC’s sexual skills, as well as a powerful trait.
- The ability to hire Kansas Adler (Req rooms).
- The ability to speak with Aria in Mordecai’s harem.
- Unique NSFW scenes.
New Story NPC: Kansas Adler
Kansas Adler is one of Mordecai Adler’s sons. He can be hired after speaking with The Chancellor through the events above.
- Wields an unequitable minigun.
- Adds a +3 Power Value boost to the MC’s household.
- Has the High Nobility Trait, which provides big Palace Rating and Influence bonuses.
New Story NPC: Bofors Gun
The MC now has access to the 40mm Bofors Gun either if he becomes High Senator or if he purchases it through War Supplies (See Dengi Invasion improvements below).
The Bofors Gun and its crew work just like a normal NPC and can be added as a follower. They come with some restrictions, however:
- Inventory disabled.
- All interaction options are disabled.
- Is auto-dismissed from your crew if you enter an interior scene or go on relic hunts.
The Bofors Gun can participate in parties, events and training sessions. Any increases are applied to its crew, which you can befriend and train, making the artillery unit more efficient in combat.
Politics Pane
There’s now an additional section in the “Economy and Influence” menu dedicated to Palace Rating (Politics).
New combat map
There’s now a new dilapidated industrial interior combat map that’ll be displayed during certain encounters.
Overhauled enemies
- The lonely, respawnable girl in Stokke Hills will now spawn with a .50 cal rifle in Control lte 24 worlds or if Played Days is 500+.
- The respawnable freebooters/raiders (not related to the fort) in Stokke Hills will now spawn with greater Health, heavier weaponry (up to Assault Rifle) and improved skills in Control lte 24 worlds or if Played Days is 500+.
- The respawnable Freebooter Punk in Watery Eyes is now a little tougher (heavy leather, 30% additional Health).
- The Johansson “kid” from watery eyes is now a scripted randie if you capture him. While he has the Brawler, Malevolent and Scavenger trait, he is neither pretty nor especially kind – prepare for a rampaging Household Depravity if kept unchecked.
Educator changes
- There’s now a tooltip in the Educator pane that displays an Educator’s active templates.
- You can now assign a total of four educators (was three).
New trait: Lower Nobility
Some NPCs, especially daughters of Spheremasters or other landlords, might now start with the Lower Nobility trait. Aisha does this by default (auto script adds this on old saves as well).
- Lower Nobility slaves sell for 100% more (all base calculations are doubled).
- High Nobility slaves sell for 200% more (all base calculations are tripled).
New trait: Jester
Jesters are witty girls or guys who like to joke around, always adding a flair of comedy to whatever situation they find themselves in – mostly at the expense of their own personal integrity, either intentional or unintentional.
- Non-Jaded NPCs participating in a Party (Pool and House Event parties) with a Jester gain an additional +2 Happiness modifier. Their Affection toward you is also increased by +1 (cap: Loving) if the Jester’s Affection toward you is Amiable+. Their Anger is also decreased by one point.
- A 50% chance to decrease Household Depravity (-1 point/day) if the Jester’s Happiness is 60+.
- Immune to Household Depravity (Happiness loss).
- Bud is a scripted Jester and randies with enough kindness and the correct type of background has a 5% chance to spawn with the Jester trait.
New trait: Master of Virgins (MC)
There are now two variables that keep track of virginities (anal/vaginal) taken (MC). When that number reaches 15+, the MC receives a new trait that’ll boost his chances of successfully arousing future virgins. The bonus is applied to the Gentle/Normal/Hard options depending on the virgin’s current Corruption.
Aisha/Farah room scripts
There’s now an active script at Conclude Day with effects related to Aisha and her best friend Farah – if they share the same private room.
- Boosts both girls’ Happiness with one point per day (cap: 80).
- One girl will try to increase the other’s Affection toward you (+1/day) if the difference is greater than 20. For instance, an Amiable Farah will boost an Unfriendly/Despising Aisha up to Neutral.
Dengi invasion improvements
- Defeating a dengi enemy POI will now grant your War Supplies which can be fetched at Town Hall (Hamilton Square).
- Added several new random home texts that set a more immersive feeling of a city under siege.
- Added minor conversation tweaks regarding the dengis for Walton and Abbot Roo.
- USS Seneca will now ramp up its bombardment if the republic’s soldier count drops too low (increased orbital bombardment starts at below 8,000).
- Added a new comfort event that executes once per day for a female NPC with WILLPOWER below 40, Ranged/Melee below 60 and Battles Fought below 20.
- Increased respawn chances for dengi enemy POIs.
New trait: War Hero (MC)
The MC can now use War Supply points (see above) to claim war medals, making him a decorated hero in the fight against the dengis. Collecting five war medals increases an NPC’s guaranteed Respect gain from combat encounters to 23. Ten medals increases this cap to 25. Collecting 15+ medals further increases the Respect cap to 30.
Mine overhaul
Mines will now take much longer to deplete.
- The amount of new available ore from expanding tunnels has been increased with up to 1,000%.
- The daily ore output from mines has been decreased by roughly 25%.
Hanging out events
Added Lovisa’s “Hang out together” event, which features over 1,000 words of events/dialogues and two unique scenes (normal/nude).
The Senate
There’s now a completely new political engine in Masters of Raana, providing a way for the MC to directly affect everything from market prices to the city’s Control and Prosperity.
- The MC can actively attend a Senate Meeting if his Influence is 50,000+ and his Palace Rating is 1,000+.
- The MC can climb the ranks of The Senate, becoming a Lawmaker, a Legislator, a Senator and finally even grab the title of High Senator, thus becoming one of the most powerful men on Raana.
- Many NPCs will address you accordingly when reaching the rank of Senator or High Senator.
- Obtaining a high-ranking title earns you additional Influence and Palace Rating points.
- Assuming The Eagle Seat (High Senator) involves a mini event where the MC can declare his focus.
- Other political entities might approach the MC in Redhaven and ask him to push their cause – in exchange for various boons/gifts.
Salary/Allowance overhaul
The salary system has been completely overhauled and merged with the Allowance framework.
- An NPC now has a *Current* and *Required* Salary. The Required Salary is basically the same as the old upkeep for freeborn mercenaries/servants. The Current Salary is what you choose to give them and works similar to the old Allowance buffs *for* slaves/convicts.
- Current salary can be anywhere from 0 to infinite.
- Convicts, slaves and other low-borns will gain more happiness and affection compared to mercs and paragons if you increase their salary.
- You can easily track an NPC’s acceptance of his or her Current Salary (visualized by Happiness, Affection and Anger buffs/debuffs) on the new Salary Pane.
- All old scripted Allowance perks have also been merged with this system, like Tuner’s Manager ability and Milou’s *extra* salary demands.
- Materialistic NPCs receive larger bonuses/penalties if you tweak their salaries.
- Some jobs, like the Captain, will receive training bonuses if you give him more Salary than what he requires.
Salary Demands (OPTIONAL)
As an extra feature to the salary overhaul, high-titled (as in high-ranked jobs/titles within your household) NPCs with WILLPOWER 15+ can now also *demand* higher salaries if their salaries are none or very low.
Factors like “killed enemies” in combat, battles fought, days in your household, the Statesman Trait, the High Nobility trait, Fame and Prestige also add to the $$ amount of their salary demand.
The Salary Demand framework adds a realistic but pretty big micromanage layer to the game so it can be turned off in Settings > Mods. Default setting is also OFF so if you don’t want to manage NPC Salary Demands, you can just ignore this feature.

Combat log overhaul
The combat log will now store all damage, soak, armor degradation and states during an entire session, giving the player a much better overview of what’s actually going on.
By default, the combat log is also confined within a new box. You can easily switch back to the old style of naked text by enabling/disabling the combat log box in Options > Mods.
Combat overhaul: killed/incapped enemies
The engine now tracks how many kills and incaps an NPC (and the MC) perform in combat. For now, it’s mostly a “fun” stat but this variable is going to be used extensively for future and *current* traits (like a Pacifist depression penalty), salary demands and other stuff.
New NPC Profession: Hunter
You’re now able to assign NPCs as Hunters. A Hunter will bring back raw meat, skins and pelts based on his or her Survival skill, equipment and Wildborn/Jaeger traits.
- A Hunter with Survival 75+ will automatically turn raw meat and skins into food/leather.
- A Hunter risks getting injured just like Scavengers.
- A Hunter without the Ammo Pack Trait also depletes ammunition so make sure you’re properly stocked up on the Hunter’s equipped ranged weapon before sending him or her out.
Academy assignment overhaul
The old v0.7.0 Academy window has been removed and merged with City Assignments for a more streamlined experience.
- Hovering over the lists at “Student” and “Teacher” displays all current active Academy assignments and what faculty each NPC belongs to.
- Clicking on the info icon on each assignment offers details about skill gains, caps, risks and expected Stamina loss.
- Clicking on either Student or Teacher opens up a new pane where you can select a specific faculty.
This change also gives us space for new assignments and faculties that’ll be released in future updates.
Academy job payments
Academy assigned NPC teachers’ skills will now weigh more when calculating their income.
New Trait: Sloppy
There’s now a new negative although very character-defining trait that some Story NPCs start with. Random, non-scripted NPCs with low Discipline have a 3% chance of starting with this trait.

There’s now a new negative although very character-defining trait that some Story NPCs start with. Random, non-scripted NPCs with decent backgrounds (non-urchin, non-destitute) have a 5% chance of starting with this trait. The Bratty Trait is also available in the Offspring Creation Engine.
New quest: A Delicate Matter
If you have 6,000+ Influence and Armand Blackford assigned as an NPC for 6+ days, interacting with him will start a medium-length quest involving a heist, an outskirts adventure, a strange stone and a scripted random NPC.
NPC Relationships
By placing two NPCs in the same room and activating the Relationship setting (default setting is OFF), various factors can lead up to the formation of an active relationship that affect the NPCs’ Happiness, sexual skills and Affection toward you (for allowing them to live together).
The relationship is mostly of a sexual/casual nature, without a defining relationship trait, where the guy (in most cases) is the active part. The framework takes a lot of attributes into account, such as the participants’ Beauty and Charisma, as well as Kindness, Corruption, age differences and various traits (Nympho, Perverted, Superficial).
Audio
- Replaced several combat sound effects.
- Added duplicate sound files for coil guns and plasma rifles. This will greatly lower the chances of having muted weapon sounds caused by browser latency.
- Added more diversity to the automatic rifle sound effect.

- Grimdark Difficulty: 80% respawn chance.
- Ikaanos Prosperity is below 15: -20% respawn chance (all difficulties).
Fort Stokke expanded
Fort Stokke now offers four additional groups (eight in total) that’ll add more diversity to this location.
Two of these new groups offer a good challenge for early/mid game playthroughs while the other two are more geared toward mid/late game parties, with boss groups carrying coilguns and plasma rifles.
New quest: The Indentured Sister (Headkiller’s chapter II)
If you successfully threaten the Headkiller’s Crew, you’ll hear a rumor about a missing sister to one of the raiders. This will start a small quest related to Abbot Roo.
- This quest is save game compatible and will auto-start if The Headkillers are still alive.
- You can restore The Headkiller’s Crew through the Home > Debug Menu on older saves if you took them out in an earlier version. This button will be removed in 0843 as it can be easily exploited. Setting “disp_hk = 1” in the console will however have the same effect in future versions.
- This quest features a scripted Story NPC (Av47) featuring 44 completed renders. She also comes with a unique background story and a special Hope and Dreams effect.
New quest: The Lost Squadron (Tier request)
Reaching Amiable+ with The Space Marine (Samuel Spartan) now unlocks a medium-sized quest that involves tracking down his old squad “The Spartan Company”.
New Story NPC: Reece Sharpe
A paragon male NPC that unlocks after completing The Lost Squadron.
R-55 Revolver
There’s now a new weapon available at Imperial Arms (and as loot from certain enemies).
- Damage is similar to a Coilgun at close range.
- Comes with a chance modifier (at close range).
- Falls under the Pistoleer trait for the MC and NPCs.
- Has a unique sound effect.
New location (tavern): Hunter’s Oasis (Hamah Bay)
The tavern at Hamah bay is now open for customers who can enjoy drinks and “today’s deal” – a randomly generated trade offer that could involve anything from tobacco to rifles.
Disposition background modifiers
The MC can now unlock an NPC’s background through other ways than *just* Affection.
Even if Affection is still the most important attribute in the new “Disposition” framework; Respect, Fear and (low) WILLPOWER play a noticeable role in revealing an NPC’s secrets.
Hover over the Disposition link when asking about an NPC’s background to view his or her current Disposition modifiers.
NPC Menu scenes
Upon entering the NPC Menu, there’s now a chance one of your NPCs will appear in the new courtyard scenes – as long as she is actually in your household, Health is 1+ and she’s not bonded/jailed.
MC Beauty and Charisma
In order to make things more consistent between the MC and NPCs, the current Charm/Attractive trait frameworks (for the MC) have been overhauled by adding two new attributes to the MC (BEAUTY and CHARISMA).
- At Character Creation, The MC’s Base BEAUTY is 35. It can be increased up 90 by the use of Creation Points (natural BEAUTY cap).
- The Attractive trait sets the the natural BEAUTY cap to 120. The BEAUTY attribute cannot be increased above 90 in the CCP, however.
- An “Ugly” disadvantage sets the natural BEAUTY cap to 35 but provides additional points during the Character Creation Process.
- BEAUTY can be increased in game through cosmetic surgery at Doctor’s Hall (up to the natural cap).
- Charm has been renamed to CHARISMA but functions just as Charm did before, playing a heavy roll in Charm attempts during interactions.
- CHARISMA can be increased to 130 (just like other Attributes) through rolls, special events and courses.
The MC’s BEAUTY now work like an extra bonus/penalty checker for various sexual, seduction and general interaction rolls. It also enables me to add more unique dialogues tied directly to the MC’s appearance instead of the hard-to-define Charm *skill* and Attractive trait. An ugly MC can also instill his subjects with Fear – opening up additional RPing doors for players.

New Domestic Event: Raider attacks
In 0.8.4.1, the MC’s household can be the target of organized raider attacks based on Difficulty settings, city Control and the rumored valuables stored within his walls.
There are a total of seven different groups that can attack, (Red Tigers, Marston street gangs etc) with a varied amount of Strength.
While the household raid event is cleared with just one click, they can potentially have game-changing effects, especially on Grimdark playtroughs. When Ikaanos is burning and raiders are seen on the streets, the importance of a sizeable and well-armed group of Guards cannot be stressed enough.
- These events will never happen if Control is 40+ or if you’re playing on Sandbox difficulty. You can also set “$noraiders = true” if you want to permanently disable the events on Normal+ playthroughs.
- The most well-armed groups have around 120 Strength. If your guard pool value matches that value you’ll be able to repel these attacks with a 99% certainty.
- The event chance % is scaled with Control and the MC’s Power Value. For instance, the raider attack event has a 15% daily risk of happening if Control is 0 and you’re playing on Grimdark Difficulty with a power value below 100. Having a lot of valuables ($1 million+) and a relatively low Power Value further increases these chances.
- A successful raid can take up to 30% of your stored valuables (cash), up to a maximum of $15k.
- A raid, both successful and unsuccessful ones, has a chance to improve your guards’ skills.
- The MC’s *help* value is calculated from his STRENGTH and combat skills.
New quest: Last Relative Chapter 4 (Tier2+)
Last Relative Chp. 4 is a rather small quest that involves the search and acquisition of Stacey McClung. It also lays the groundwork for MOR’s last **grand** quest (Last Relative Chapter 5) which will take the MC and his Followers out on a long adventure.
The main feature of this quest is the ability to acquire a full Story NPC with 150+ renders, a unique profession, special traits and many dialogues.
New random mission generator (Relic Hunting)
Stacey’s unique profession (Relic Hunter) opens up an endless mission generator that can take you out on long and dangerous adventures to all parts of Ikaanos. Hunt for lost pre-Severance relics in deep caves filled with monsters and precious loot or investigate derelict buildings in civilized areas that could house anything from cultists to crazed denaar addicts.
The Relic Hunting framework contains 30,000+ words, 40+ renders, hundreds of unique events and over 200,000 relics, as well as a long list of Easter Eggs and special character dialogues.
Followers at Furry’s
Followers will now take an active part in the carousing and “fun” over at Furry’s tavern.
Weapon specialist traits
Some scripted NPCs now start the game with Weapon specialist traits, which provide extra damage rolls but also a penalty when using weapons that are not within their specialty type.
Wega armor changes
- Increased the WEGA armor repair Science requirement to 50+.
- You now need a Laboratory to repair WEGA armor.
- Quartermasters can now repair WEGA armors if their Quartermaster skill is 80+. Requires Laboratory, 300 nanites and 2 durasteel. The repair is instant (=max soak).
Redhaven Market/resource overhaul
- There’s now an extra resource tab at Redhaven Market.
- Added Leather, Skins and Merchandise as purchasable items at Redhaven Market.
- Replaced the Skin resource pic.
Bathroom overhaul
You’re now able to use the shower even after upgrading your bathroom with a tub.
Threesomes
Added Arizona + Aria as a rendered and scripted (dialogues etc.) threesome set.
Assignment/job overhaul
- The NPC Job pane is now much more browser friendly with improved CSS alignment properties.
- The Assignment arrows have been replaced with icons that sort assignments in “House jobs”, “Stores”, “Away assignments”, “City Properties” and “Colonial Properties”.
- If a single-assignment task is occupied, this is now displayed by a head icon. Hovering over this icon displays who’s actually working where. Same goes for Titles.
- “City Properties” displays workshops and taverns. Clicking on one of them opens up a new assignment option pane which allows you to appoint workers, barkeepers and foremen in a more structured way.
- You can now send off NPCs through the Colonial Properties pane, instead of having to navigate into Actions.
New unique title: First wife
In the multi-religious cauldron that is Ikaanos, it’s common practice for a prominent lord to appoint his First Wife, especially in a household with multiple wives. A First Wife is seen as her Lord’s equal and enjoys many benefits that come with that title.
A First Wife will increase Affection and Happiness and enjoy various salary and skill bonuses for certain assignments.
Other wives with Respect below 30 will however look at your First Wife with jealousy, which might decrease their Affection and Happiness.
New Unique title: Bed Slave
You can now appoint any willing NPC to be your “bed warmer” – she’ll satisfy you either orally (25%) or with her pussy (75%) and acts as an instant gratification provider without the need to use the larger sex frameworks.
The Bed Slave event execute at Conclude Day and involve all sex-related scripts including wear, sexual experience, loads taken, arousal, happiness, affection and semen swallowed. The MC also wakes up with the “Normal craving” status.
Tavern job overhaul
The Tavern assignments have been completely overhauled. When entering the “Jobs & Titles > Properties” section, and after clicking on the tavern you want to assign the active NPC to, you’ll get a choice to either enlist that NPC as a worker, bouncer, performer or barkeeper. The barkeeper job works just like before but the new tavern assignments have some additional features.
Academy work changes (NPCs)
An Academic or Science professor will now increase his or her base salary from The Academy if:
- Academics or Science is 100+ (+$15/day).
- Academics or Science is 120+ (+$25/day).
- Prestige is 50+ (+$5/day).
- Prestige is 150+ (+$15/day).
Scavenger job changes
- Scavengers with Survival 90+ will now bring in more Merchandise loot.
- Scavengers with the Techie trait and Survival 60+ now have a 15% chance to bring in extra stimpacks as loot. Gains from a Techie+Scavenger Trait combo stack.
- Scavengers with the Nerd trait and Survival 60+ now have a 15% chance to bring in artifacts as loot. They can also track down Unique artifacts if that Nerd’s Academy skill is 80+.
- Scavengers with a Health below 10 now receive a noticeable loot amount penalty.
Scavenger risks
All scavengers will now risk injuries during their runs if Control is below 30. Damage is mitigated by combat skills, equipped weaponry, armor and the Survival skill, but also increased if Control drops below 10 and again at 0.
- It’s now important to equip your scavengers with armor and weaponry, and train their combat skills up to at least 40+. The type of armor and weapon also matters and the NPC should also be able to handle it (Great Sword on a 30 STR Lovisa won’t give her any bonuses, for instance).
- On Grimdark difficulty, scavengers risk a -2 DEX/STR/STAMINA/BEAUTY stat drop if their Health drops to -5 or less from a scavenger injury roll.
- On Ironman, an inexperienced and poorly equipped scavenger **risks** getting killed.
- Note that Scavvies won’t be subjected to stat losses and *cannot* be killed on Normal or Sandbox difficulties.

New NPC skill: Deepthroat (tier request)
The oral engine has been given a new layer of detail. While the normal Oral skill focuses on how to please the MC’s cock and make him cum, a subject’s ability to actually deepthroat and hold her breath is now determined by a separate *Deepthroat* skill.
- (Old saves) All NPCs’ Deepthroat skill is automatically set to their current Oral skill.
- New NPCs’ Deepthroat skill is set to their base Oral skill modified by a random number between +5 and -15.
- You can train the deepthroat skill through DT sessions in the training room or normal oral (deepthroat) sex.
- Several texts and scripts have been changed to take this new feature into account.

Gameplay changes
- [NPC] The MC and NPCs now suffer a -10 penalty when training physical skills *if* their age is 50+. The penalty increases to -20 if age is 60+. Penalties do not affect Ranged combat.
- [NPC] Talika now starts the game as a Red Tide Devotee. This also increases her base WILLPOWER and Discipline by up to 60 points.
- [NPC] Talika now starts the game with a guaranteed DEXTERITY between 75 and 95.

- [WORLD] The Catholic Church can no longer wipe itself out (power below 1) from the abbey scandal event.
- [WORLD] The Catholic Church now only suffers a -3 Power penalty from the abbey scandal event (was 40).
- [WORLD] Auto buy rations will now deduct food from Redhaven Market’s food supplies (Market cap).
- [CCP] You can no longer combine the Mountain Man and Weak-boned traits.
New epic story event: The scourge of Raana
The player now has the option to enable an end game *Dengi invasion event* – both at startup and in the options menu. This event is set to OFF as default.
Once the amount of played days ($days gte $dengi_days) has reached or surpassed the “days” setting, there’s a 20% daily chance of the initial event chain to execute. Once that event chain reaches “The Rise of The Dengi King”, Ikaanos is invaded by a roughly 5,000+ man strong army of monstrous creatures that’ll try to destroy human civilization and enslave its people.
The player can actively try to defeat the dengis, who’re harassing The entire Red River Basin and Kasey’s Park. By fighting his way through the hordes of degenerates all the way to the Dengi King in Bela’s Marsh, the player can also play a direct role in ending the invasion, which provides unique loot and a new trait.
Skyguard is actively trying to fight this monstrous threat, however, and will deplete the dengi warrior count based on a number or factors. Unfortunately, Skyguard will also be depleted. If Skyguard drops below 200 men, and if the king is still alive, the destruction of Ikaanos begins, which immediately ends the game.
The active stance of Skyguard provides an alternative route for a non-combat oriented MC who can aid by providing NPCs and weaponry.
Note that dengi swarms are considered to be a very high-tier enemy. The dengi king is also extremely difficult to take out.
Bathroom overhaul
- Bathing now only takes 30 minutes instead of one hour.
- Increased Stamina and Health regeneration (from baths) by 30-50%.
New Darkmere map
Darkmere’s map has been completely overhauled to facilitate the new sawmill framework (see below).
Slave market changes
- Very high market saturations will now speed up the replenish rates by roughly 50%.
- Slave market saturation will now receive a +50% replenish rate boost if City Liberty is below 20 *or* City Corruption is 60+ *and* Prosperity is 60+.
Overhauled debug menu (Tier4+)
The old NPC debug menu has been completely overhauled and now includes the MC and World settings, in addition to a greatly expanded set of variables for NPCs.
New building: Sawmill
The MC is now able to purchase lumber rights at Darkmere, set up a sawmill and harvest wood.
Installing a burner also provides gunpowder (from charcoal).
The sawmill comes with a unique reforestation framework. It can also be converted into a farm once all the trees have been cut down.

- [MC] The Educator trait now works from day one.
- [MC] The Party Animal trait now adds an additional +1 Affection to each NPC if you successfully Socialize during a held *Party*.
- [MC/ADVENTURE] Searching for gemstones will now take 3h per attempt (was 4h).
- [HOUSEHOLD] Materialistic NPCs and NPCs with (battle) Fame below 5 now receive a +5% chance (per factor) to decrease WILLPOWER while being in a jail cell.

- [ARENA] DEX 80+ now gives a +10 modification to all battle rolls, while a DEX below provides a -10 penalty.

- [WORLD] The Lawful trait will now only disable House Carozza donations and not block the location from appearing on the map.

New quest: The Sunderlands
Reaching Affection Amiable+ with Connor Sunderland (Black Guard from Warrior Hall) will now unlock his character quest which involves rescuing Mr. Sunderland’s wife and daughter.
The Sunderlands includes two new scripted NPCs, featuring 22 sex scenes, unique background dialogues and a unique item.
New quest: SWG R22
Visit the Drainage pipe in Stokke Hills to start a medium-length adventure that takes you through a fringe-science story with lots of pre-Severance lore and unique rewards.
New location (and quest): Marston Watch Tower
You’re now able to visit an old pre-Severance military installation in Marston Swamps. This location offers a rather long “dungeon crawl” best suited for mid- or well-equipped early-game playthroughs.
After clearing Marston Tower, you’re able to annex it in Fort Sera’s name, if the fortress’ Standing (toward you) is 100+, they have at least 85 men and $100,000 in their treasury.
New location: The Gymnasium (Crow’s End)
There’s now a civilian alternative to The Arena – a gymnasium which hosts Acrobatics’ quarter finals and grand finals on set dates. For over 250 years, many households and great houses have honored the tradition of signing up their top gymnast to these competitions. The MC *can assign* one of his Followers (if that Follower has Acrobatics 80+ and is 14+ years old) to the competition.
Winning a competition is hard – the other participants (found in a new $gympart object container) are actively increasing their skills as well and will try to do anything to win the quarters (once every 50 days) but also the grand finale (once every 200 days).
A winning girl is assigned Prestige (Civilian). A high Gymnastic Rep. increases Influence. *Winning* also gives you a cash and one-time Influence reward, similar to The Arena. Participating in a contest might also increase other skills and trait values, regardless if the girl wins or not.
The chance of winning is determined by Acrobatics, Dexterity, traits, body type, Affection toward the MC and unique NPC bonuses.
New location: Westside Abbey
You’re now able to assign female NPCs as nuns at Westside Abbey. This assignment works similar to The Arena – an NPC is unavailable 24/7 as long as she’s enrolled and costs a daily upkeep ($95). – Westside Abbey increases Discipline, Intelligence, Gardening, Domestic and a long list of other traits. – With enough Catholic Standing, the MC can appoint his enrolled girls to orders that greatly increases the chance of increasing specific traits or skills.
Westside District
Westside’s map has been completely overhauled and are now looking more “in line” with other city maps.
Job changes (Maid)
You can now assign daughters and wives to work as maids. – An assigned daughter or wife with an Affection below Undying has a 15% or 25% chance to decrease Happiness and Affection (down to Amiable) with one point per day. Effects are doubled if she has the Materialistic trait. – An assigned daughter or wife with Affection below Soulmate has a 15% chance to decrease WILLPOWER down to a minimum of 20.
Prestige
In 0.8.3.8, a new civilian fame variable called Prestige has been activated.
Prestige is gained by winning gymnastics competitions, performing at The Golden Dragon, lecture as a Professor at The Academy and doing other high-end feats of a more civilized kind.

“Riding clothes” overhaul
The old riding clothes slot has been completely revamped:
- You’re now able purchase this attire (relabeled “Training clothes”) at Nika’s. Any female NPC can now wear Training clothes regardless of assignments.
- Training clothes provide an extra bonus if worn during training sessions/gym competitions.
- This change opens up for a lot more freedom when rendering future (or overhauled) NPCs’ wardrobes.
- NPCs dressed in “riding clothes” when you update from 0837 to 0838 will automatically add that clothing to your inventory when you change their attire.
Holiday dress availability
You’re now able to purchase the ‘holiday dress’ after finishing Nika’s quest.
Mindmancer overhaul
Applying Mindmancer now adds a “Mentally Challenged” trait to the targeted NPC. He or she also receives a -15 escape chance modification.
Jewelry
NPCs can now wear necklaces, which works just like clothes (Inventory > Accessories).
- While wearing very expensive jewelry (diamonds, embryls) might increase Affection for any NPC, a materialistic girl will definitely be *even more* inclined toward the MC if you allow her to wear a precious necklace.
- The MC can now craft diamond and embryl necklaces.
- The act of gifting “expensive trinkets” has been removed.
New furniture (Mega bed) – tier request
You’re now able to purchase a double-size imperial bed at The Carpenter in South Redhaven. This bed can house up to eight NPCs (master bedroom only).
Cannot be combined with other beds – remove any present double or single beds to enable placement of the Mega bed.
Combat overhaul
- Fighting in darkness (9pm-4:59am) now adds a -5 hit chance penalty for ranged weapons (MC, Followers, enemies).
- (Grimdark difficulty only) Using ranged weapons during storms (weather type 1 & 2) now adds a -15 hit chance penalty and a -10 damage penalty for plasma rifles (MC, Followers, enemies).
- All DENGI-type enemies now have the “Frenzy” ability, which causes a large damage increase as their HEALTH drops (starts at health 49 or less (+5), max +50 damage at health below 10). This ability is only active for melee weapons.
New pregnancy effects
- Any NPC that is 180+ days into her pregnancy and participating in combat now receives a -15 penalty when using ranged weapons and a -50 penalty when using melee weapons.
Difficulty adjustments
- Changed the negative hit point kill threshold for Ironman from -10 to -20.
