The Veil Chronicles: Nix University [v0.4 Rebuild]

v 0.4.REBUILD
We recommend starting the game over (in any version) because the changes are significant. From a gameplay perspective, a lot has changed.
Changes Affecting All Versions

• We’ve added the ability to choose the protagonist’s name.
• We’ve completely overhauled almost all interfaces (dialog windows, battle interfaces, the party selection interface, etc.).
• We’ve optimized performance. The animations in those particular scenes now run much more smoothly.
• We’ve completely redesigned the map, changing both its appearance and how you navigate it. You can now gather resources there.
• We’ve fully reworked and revamped the battle system:
  • We’ve changed the abilities of both the main character and the party members.
  • Consumable items have been introduced. You can use Veil Stones in battle, and there are new potions that remove various effects.
  • There are more status effects now (poison, burn, etc.), and your attacks can also inflict them.

v0.4.1
Technical changes
– bug fixes and proofreading of English text;
– improved optimisation. You can notice for yourself that the game now weighs considerably less.

New content:
– The most important update is the ability to skip the different parts of game when you start new game.
– We improved the design of the spider-girl boss. Now there is an 18+ scene with her (available after finding the amulet in the location with the Alpha Dryad and showing it to goblin girl).
– A new boss has been added – the Bee Queen. There is also an 18+ scene with her (available after finding the amulet in the location with the Alpha Dryad and showing it to goblin girl).
– After defeating all the bosses of the Red Forest (Alpha Dryad, Spider Boss, and Bee Queen), you can recruit Melea (the harpy) into your party. Yes, we now have another party member.
– We added the orc girl Brunhilda. You will be able to meet her in the new version of the game.

Note: The order of unlocking points on the map has been changed. This is not a bug; it’s intentional. To get all the scenes with the bosses, you need to:

• Defeat the Alpha Dryad and bring the amulet to Jura;
• Then first defeat the Spider Girl and then the Bee Queen.

– An 18+ scene with Dzira – the dark elf (available after completing a quest. After defeating White, you need to go to Chloe and take a quest to find a collar).
– An 18+ scene with an alpha-dryad, which has two versions: futa and non-futa (the presence of futa content is chosen at the beginning of the game). Available after defeating the boss. The alpha-dryad can be encountered in the Redwood.
– New NPCs: goblin-girl Jura and speaking cat Matteo. You can meet them by completing one of the new quests.

1. Technical changes:
– We’ve sped up combat;
– Added a button to hide the dialogue box;
– Now John can rest in his room and fully restore his health;
– Fixed other bugs and technically refined the combat system.

2. New content:
– Contains an 18+ scene with Rose (blonde elf) and a small mini-game.
– Adds a side quest after which you will be able to take Kirin (a guitar-girl) on the team.
– Adds new main quest with new enemies, a new boss and a continuation of the main story.
