The size of the build has also been significantly reduced by lowering the output file size of the images. This allowed me to go from around 7 MB per image to about 1.5 MB. Personally, I couldn’t notice any difference in visual quality whatsoever.

A quick note about the casino:

I’ve tried several different ways of integrating the balance system, but the game still somehow manages to reset your winnings. For now, the working solution is this: collect your winnings, leave Bobby’s room, and save the game. This way, your balance should remain correct.

Slightly adjusted the dealer’s formula to maintain the game’s economic balance.

Please also note that the game doesn’t currently use active time-of-day management, so the corresponding button will remain inactive for now.

Rebuild Demo
For those who are curious: everything has been rebuilt from the ground up. Don’t forget that this is my first project of this kind, and while there were many things I liked about the previous builds, the story was a complete failure. I decided to do what should have been done from the very beginning — let Bobby actually be Bobby. In many ways, this is a revival of the very game that inspired me to start this project in the first place.

Some of the old content has been scrapped, while other parts have already been integrated or will be integrated into future updates. The most important thing I gained from my mistakes is a ton of experience and professional skills. Because of that, development is much smoother now, even if it’s slower than some of you would like. After all, I only have two hands, and I work on this project in my free time outside of my main job.
